Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
The Submarine Navy taught me life lessons thru exposure to many things I would have never experienced had I stayed in my small hometown. One insight I am often reminded of; every person is different; everyone has different skills, goals, motivations, and, dreams. Understand theirs will not be the same as yours. It does not make them better or worse. When given respect, encouragement, and opportunity everyone, independent of their strengths and weaknesses, can make a greater contribution.
