I learned an excellent work ethic, discipline, and team work in basic training. In advanced combat training and ROTC the focus was on Leadership, and as a unit commander I learned how to work as a disciplined leader, how to let my NCO s do their jobs, and how to lead by example. Quartermaster training involved a lot of training in supply management, inventory control, maintenance, food service, petroleum distribution, and vehicle maintenance.
