I am a United States Naval Academy graduate and a twenty year Navy aircraft carrier pilot who flew combat missions during Operation Desert Storm. After the war, then Lieutenant Polinchock returned to the United States where he served as the Manpower / Human Resources Officer for a major airbase at Naval Air Station, Joint Reserve Base Willow Grove, PA. Transferring to the Naval Reserves, he became a C-9B aircraft commander and instructor pilot and ultimately retired at the rank of Commander.
