Eagle's Rest will soon be a retreat center where Military Chaplains from all branches of service can come with their spouses for 3 or 4 nights of R & R. We are currently looking for a suitable property / home in the beautiful N. GA Mtns. in or near Hiawassee. This peaceful retreat will be offered to Chaplains of all faiths at no charge. Scholarships for Military Chaplains and their spouses will be made possible by the generous donations of VOB's and other individuals / organizations who believe that we need to support and encourage the men and women who have sacrificed so much to minister to our Troops. Priority will always be given to those who have served in combat zones since 9/11. All gifts and donations are Tax-Deductible. We are a 501(c)3 registered in the State of GA.

I am a Vietnam Veteran with a son who is currently serving in the Nat'l Guard. As a civilian Chaplain/Counselor for over 20 yrs. I believe that I have learned the importance of "Servant Leadership" putting the needs of others first. Life is short and precious. It is not all about making money. I want to leave this world just a little bit better than I found it. Supporting our Military Chaplains and their spouses is the driving passion behind our efforts to develop Eagle's Rest.
