One of the biggest challenges Wounded Warriors face upon returning home is isolation. Despite decades of war we created a unique environment to capture the appreciation of Americans in a public arena offering a safe place to overcome barriers to recovery. Many struggle for years to rekindle bonds formed in combat. Shortly after 9/11 we served as a Wounded Warrior welcome home/transition unit and as a training organization for (MLBPAA) rookie field managers. Our partners helped ensure they came home to standing ovations, tearful reunions and continue to play a significant role in obtaining medical care, academic scholarships and jobs. For nearly three decades our corporate partners enabled us to honor combat veterans while connecting with over 1 billion fans in 48 states and 25 countries.
