United Veterans of Maine provides an Emergency Shelter for Veterans / Veterans & families with facilities for Short & Long term transitional housing while utilizing existing wrap around services. Coordinate with existing veteran resources in Aroostook County for Rapid Re-Housing.
We are a non-profit organization operated by veteran volunteers for veterans and their families.
United Veterans of Maine's goal is simple, to provide shelter and coordinate services for the most deserving population of people Our Veterans. As veterans living in Maine we see a need that can be accomplished with hard work and determination. Rural Maine Veterans make up 64.4% of the Veteran population in Maine.
