My co-founder was wounded in The Korengal Valley, and I survived the cut at both Army Ranger and Army Sapper School. Computer programming is hard, and it can be unpleasant, but we've both seen worse. I generally figure that I've suffered more than most people at Ranger School, and I managed to find a co-founder who put that to shame. In 'the most dangerous place on earth,' my co-founder remembers waking up every day hoping he'd get wounded so he could go home. Ideal preparation we call that.
