I learned about leadership and integrity a great deal in the military. The military life includes a lot of processing and repetition, and I operate my business with a sink or swim mentality. I have learned to become resilient and comfortable with uncertainty. The military has a proven track record of teaching leadership, strategic planning, creative problem-solving, task execution, and resiliency—all traits essential to business ownership.
