Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
Leadership traits and knowing how to work effectively with a team to accomplish goals are two important factors for how I transitioned my military into the civilian workforce. I worked 25 years in Staffing at both sales and sales leadership. What I learned in the military, tied to my skill set and training, allows me to make a difference in focusing on my capabilities to protect and defend as well as serve our country. I look at what I have done with companies like Aerotek and now DVBE Connect as the "next logical steps" following all that I accomplished in my 8 year career in the Army.
