My military service instilled in me a 'mission-first' mentality that is the backbone of Nurturing Therapeutic Care. In the service, the mission is the priority and you never leave anyone behind; in home care, that mission is the health, safety, and dignity of our seniors. Military life also taught me the importance of discipline and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). In healthcare, there is no room for error—whether it's medication management or safety protocols, my background ensures we do things right every single time. Finally, being a Veteran taught me how to lead with empathy. Managing a team and caring for clients requires a level of resilience and calm under pressure that only the military can provide. When families trust us with their loved ones, they aren't just getting a service; they’re getting a commitment to excellence and a level of integrity that was forged in service to our country.
