Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
I've worked in public affairs for nearly ten years and feel the military gives me the strength to live by military values in my business. I have worked in corporate offices, but it was not the same as working for the military. This made me want to launch my business this year. Surprisingly, much of my time so far has been assisting veteran-owned businesses / organizations and I've found it extremely rewarding. The military's emphasis on time-management and leadership has helped me as well.
