Comments on the Military and Business Ownership

Being the Army helped me learn dogged persistence and how to better push through my own resistance around doing things that I didn't like without all the complaining. Take latrine-duty for instance! Gross but necessary, and whining about it doesn't get the job done. It also taught me the value of teamwork and how depending on and supporting others brings a profound sense of gratitude, pride, and self-honor.
