Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
I spent 7 years serving in the Marine Corps prior to starting my business. I was a Logistics Officer for 3rd Marines, and deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq. I then served a three year tour as a Marine Officer Instructor. The training and challenges I overcame while in the Marines definitely set me up for success in the private sector.
