Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
I started as a squad leader in basic training. As my Air Force career progressed I took advantage of opportunities to learn and be mentored by outstanding NCOs. Through this mentoring I was given on occasion additional duties and responsibilities in various roles and thus acquired leadership and organizational skills as well as learning how to carry out and take responsibility for assignments and tasks that involved leading others.
