Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
I served from 1969 to 1972. I graduated from Ft Belvoir in Feb 1970 then went to Germany to be a Shop Officer in HQ&A Company 19th Maintenance Battalion. The experience of leading a 186 man team was real world experience. My son who also owns part of the business was a programmer in the Air Force from 1996 to 1998 and also served in the Presidential Honor Guard from 1998 to 2000. Discipline is a key component for both of us in how we manage our business.
